Because women are more fundamentally social than men. They are "social justice warriors" in comparison to us. Women communicate and cooperate; men compete.

Put another way:

Women think about the good of the whole because they are smart enough to instinctively know that what is good for the whole is usually good for them and their families and kids.

For men, this sharing and cooperation is a bit anathema. Men are selfish because the more you have, the more you are capable of protecting yourself and your family. Sacrificing for the good of the whole is still a sacrifice and puts the family at higher risk. Furthermore, men often believe others should feel the same way; pulling your weight (do you know this English idiom?) is the best way to help the whole because, if you don't need help, then we don't have to sacrifice for you and we can better take care of ourselves.

This is why females are usually liberal or progressive, while males have a tendency to be conservative.

It's also why it is in the best interests of the world for there to be more female leaders. Males got us to where we are by conquering most threats to our species, but our #1 threat now is ourselves due to the competitive nature of males. Females now need to take over or at least have more influence so as to tone down the competitiveness and enhance the cooperation which is needed to get us out of this mess.

It seems  obvious  that women find more inspiration in political opinions defending women rights. However... Why going for ultra-conservative though? I know, personally, two women, who are siding with the far-right. One's point of view is focusing on anti-immigration, she is effectively terrorized by islamic attacks. The other suddenly wants to be an orthodox trad wife since a year or two, for mysterious reasons, as such a stance is the opposite of her upbringing and surroundings. So, okay, tradwives and islamo-phobia. That applies to USA too, there are maybe hordes of tradwives there, given the strong and legal presence of religious extremism in USA, freedom is beautiful lol. I suppose the old song of anti-communism still converts US citizens, men and women, to capitalism even though they already live under capitalism (shrug), even though USSR has become a nationalist-capitalist power since 30 years (shrug²). Also, the tale told of US renewal, greatness blabla well, this tale is not gender-based anyway. Who else could go ultra-conservative, the TERFs? Okay, just joking for this one, sorry.

Well what I've noticed about progressive politics is that they are supported by people that feel they benefit them or those that it won't cost anything of. And today a lot of what is referred to as progressive benefits women. It like women who are in favour of alimony & child support paid to mothers but if it's reversed and they have to pay then they are against it.

For instance many liberal women were in favour of transrights until it meant transwomen competing in women's sports, using women's bathrooms/lockerooms and being in women's jails with them.

Or in favour of affirmative action until it meant themselves or their kids not having a shot at college or a job given to someone less capable.

Or those that were in favour of the government paying off college loans until they realised that they had to pay off their college loan and now they were going to be taxed more or those that didn't get to go to college has to pay more taxes so someone should had the privilege of going to college and getting a degree that will earn the college graduate more money than them.

The traditional male and female roles have women nurturing and taking care of others while men exhort their children to become independent and self-sufficient. "Progressive" usually means the government provides a safety net to take care of us, while conservative politics encourages us to all be self-reliant and self-sufficient. So, women are more of a better fit for progressive politics while men are naturally more aligned with conservative values.

because progressive politics relies on emotional manipulation which works on women much easier than men

emotion manipulation doesn't work on men as much as logical reasoning. pushing logic aside for emotions has gotten men into much unnecessary trouble including losing their own lives

men have predominately sheltered and protected women from the dangers of the outside world whether from dangerous wildlife, the elements, natural disasters, workplace fatalities and other men where women don't need to rely on logic as much

so of course progressive politics will sound great on paper by tugging at the emotional strings of women but these politics rarely ever work on paper

I wouldn't describe it as progressive, but they are more likely to align with the socially accepted school opinion. I think it is because men are more likely to be invested into politics where women would be more concerned about social acceptance. So a women is most likely to hear an unchallenged political talking point from the left while a man is more likely to encounter dissenting information. The democrats have been using that to their advantage this election.

Men are more worried about practicality and logic. It’s evolutionary because we needed to be tough and logical to be successful at providing and protecting our families.

Women are more concerned about relationships and socializing which is also evolutionary. Women depended on their husbands and networking with other women for support. Their reputation was extremely important.

Women are also more emotionally impressionable than men and leftist activists/influencers know it. They have successfully hijacked female thoughts and beliefs through their emotionally based ideologies.

Because democrats have disenfranchised men completely as opposed to seeking equality. There's nothing else to it. All that gossip females do to each other to convince each other men are out to get them is purely self projection of them out to get men. It's crazy child support exists. It violates the 13th amendment yet men are still punished in their own country. "Progressive" is a euphemism for liberalism, and liberalism is for people who think the government should take care of people like a parent takes care of a child. Women like that because they like being taken care of but don't want to rely on a man to do it.

Women are more emotional and empathetic and too many want to make big decisions based on that. That is why the USA doesn't keep a secure border and immigration numbers down to very low numbers and why we let men on women's sports teams.

Women are primarily concerned with what women are traditionally concerned about in the family. The welfare of the children, healthcare etc.

Men look to protect and to bring home the money for the family. To me, this has to be the most important because without this secure then you can’t then focus on children or healthcare as there is no safety and no money.
