Democrats want to ban gas cars eventually. Trump will overturn all the emission crap so we could keep driving our gas cars. Why are people complaining about him?

I am afraid that won't happen either. Electric cars will replace internal combustion cars because they are better and cheaper to manufacture. They are the future of the industry down to entirely capitalistic reasons and has nothing to do with climate change or any attempts to twist the arms of car manufacturers.

To put it bluntly, car manufacturers dont want to invest more into a technology they already know will die.

Most makers are pulling back on electric only one I know pushing it is Jaguar but they also are trying to rub shoulders with the Maybach, Royce and Bentley level... I think jaguar will shutter before the decade is out

@jamesgoldman You are thinking of the batteries which is a technology that is severely underdeveloped. This problem will be solved through new technological innovations as electrical cars becomes more popular, and thus more investments are made into research.

@jamesgoldman That is literally not how capitalism works. They are not rational nor do they plan long term. They just want the number to go up, infinitely. Communism for example would plan long term which is why they have had things such as the one-child policy in China to curb population growth (for food reasons and not for economical reasons but I digress). Capitalism are just fueled by infinite growth which needs infinite people which is impossible but no one claimed they were smart.

@jamesgoldman No, I am not a communist. I am just pointing out the fact that communism includes long-term planning where as capitalism does not. Which is an inarguable truth. The moment you start attributing hidden agendas or conspiracies to capitalism you lose. The big secret is that there never was a plan in the first place.

The elite is not cooperating as a whole, they are competing. Decisions are not made by people, they are made by corporate interests. This whole thing means that they only care about short term gains and that corporate decisions follows a very simple order of operations. They just want to grow bigger. That is it.

Your claim that they want to cull the lower class to elevate themselves by proxy is literally against their ideology because that does not lead towards growth.
