I see on the news that the remaining Democratic governors are getting together to oppose Trumps policies? Does it get any more insane than that?

With Trump winning the Popular vote and the Electoral College, it doesn't get any more apparent that the country, overall, wants a complete change of direction, and when you look at the election results on the U. S. map, it is the same old shit with the division, with the WEST COAST. and the EAST COAST along with NM and Colorado, exhibiting the same kind of stance as always.

I always marvel at the differences and what contributes to that kind of division across the U. S, what is the demographic of the WEST/EAST and NOW Colorado and N. Mexico, that separates the political viewpoints down the middle, with such divergent attitudes about what we do as a society? . I have no understanding of what and why? The ENTIRE west coast, CA, WA and OREGON are in Lock step? !!!

If politics was about serving people and the common good rather than about power and I influence. Then this would not happen. The US has been in gridlock like denial since the end of the Clinton presidency. They are doing it to screw us all.

What they should do is just say fuck it, "if thats what America wants let them have it" and just walk away. Let Trump do what he wants, good and bad. Take the time off to get your own house in order and examine where you went wrong.

@purplepoppy Probably the most logical approach, Ms Poppy, and with that said, we have to wait and see what happens to the country financially, in our International standing, the wars going on around the planet. Netanyahu has already agreed to probably cease operations in Lebanon, and maybe that will go further... Then hopeful he will convince Putin to withdraw from Ukraine.

@RoronoaZoro8 Well, not really, as that does not accomplish anything except continue the existing division that we see in government. We will never accomplish anything if the Congress continues, and the individual states continue to create division, and resist what is probably inevitable.

@RoronoaZoro8 No, I think both sides need to step back and think about what is best for the country... as a whole, and not what is agreeable to a segment of the population. I don't agree with the Supreme Court rolling back Roe vs Wade, as I am a Pro Choice person while also being a conservative. There has just got to be a 'middle ground' on some of the hard choices in governing a country, but I don't know what that is?
