I'm a man who's NOT conservative, but I found many commonalities with men who were, and who also supported her: she's politically moderate (which is exactly what this country needs these days), wants to end the Forever Wars (popular with anyone fond of humanity, and especially those who'd be at risk for being enslaved to fight them, like the new wave of young Republicans influencing that party's direction), is concerned more with repairing our crumbling infrastructure than funding Europeans wanting to murder each other OR Asians wanting to murder each other (a big plus for anyone who sees how bad said infrastructure has gotten), is a veteran (which doesn't really matter to me, but appeals to more traditionalist mindsets, which many conservatives have), she objects strongly enough to Democrat bullshit (they totally screwed her over in 2020) to straight-up leave the party, and, if you're bigoted enough to care, she's a mixed-race woman. She's also relatively young and attractive; I'm not going to pretend that doesn't entice people to vote for her.

I kind of feel like Sgt. Dignam when it comes to Tulsi Gabbard... She plays both sides. She is a grey hat. She grows up in what is essential a cult so her moral foundation isn't solid. People that think that way are like soldiers of fortune, they are loyal to the dollar and whoever pays best is who grey hats work for. So one can hope she's on our side, but who really knows. If you hand a grey hat the keys to the castle and they have a wealth of intelligence at their finger tips, it's hard to believe they'd stay loyal to our side and not use all that intel for personal gain. If you listen to raw audio from independent reporters she noticeably goes from kick ass, confident, I'm in charge voice to a shaky stammer when she talks about the incidence expressing nervousness and a lack of confidence concerning her response. In other words, she knows she is going to lie and is scared of being discovered...

It's mostly because she's a "normal" person as far as politicians are concerned. Policies wise, her support is almost entirely due to her being a non-interventionist in foreign wars, and seen as someone who doesn't back down even when outright betrayed by her own party, and is willing to actually have a conversation with her enemies instead of defaulting to circular word salads like most. Conservatives wouldn't support her on many of her domestic views if she ran for office though.

Support for RFK and Elon Musk is likewise based mainly on their respective, specific views on subjects, not the entirety.
