Was waiting for a pizza this evening and witnessed a jeep cut off oncoming traffic too short and it ended with them on their roof. They were all lucky and walked away.

Yes, many times and without thinking about it, I just ran towards the emergency to see if I could help and yes, several times I was a big help to the person that had the emergency 🙂
It happened so often in my life that I got the feeling that God put me in the right place at the right time and everything turned out ok because I was there to help people.
I love helping people out and I do it out of the kindness of my heart.
Not because I want something back from them, or to say "You owe me now", not to brag about it. I just want a simple thank you 😊
I saw a guy on a Kawasaki 500, 3 banger zoom around my friend in his truck. I was behind my friend on my Kawasaki 650LTD. The guy hit his front brake and lost balance at the yield sign. The type that allows turning right at a red light. I saw my friend looking to the left for traffic. He thought the guy was gone as he had been popping wheelies and going fast. I knee he was going to runover the guys back wheel but his front ground effects scooped the guy up and pushed him down the road. The guy was screaming and slapping the fender as I sped up. As I caught up beside him he jerked the wheel and it spit the guy out. I stopped and tended to the guy and stopped traffic. I had someone go call the ambulance. This was 92 so no cell phones among us.
The guy lived but had internal injuries.
Yea was with this girl whom decided to take a big leap off a post and broke her foot really bad. Rumor was she was head over heels for me, but the truth is, she just really playful and a little wild sometimes. Besides the right expression is heels over head.
anyways, I endured the screams for a while because I couldn't get to her. called 911.
married her few years later.
Reminder to everyone. Safety, is #1 priority.

Where I used to work there was an armed robbery at the business upstairs. There were no shots fired but I saw the robber running down the stairs and I called the cops and was able to describe the robber.
Yes, countless times. I am also a former Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) that worked for various county ambulance services and volunteered with rescue squads and volunteer fire departments.
I am a first responder and I respond to probably 3-5 emergencies per night. Thursday I had a fatality from a crash/ejection, and a murder/crash from two hood rats arguing. Hood rat one shot hood rat two through the neck, and he hit the gas (in his car) and crashed into another vehicle. Just another night.
Yup. All the time in a building of 2K kids. All the time as a coach. Few incidents with strangers but that fire sucked.
I was calculating payroll at work when I looked up and saw the compressor on fire. I called 911; the supervisors fought the fire and we saved the plant...
Wow sorry.. you okay? I sort of have stepped in on a situation before but not like a fatal car accident or anything
I was fine. I was inside the restaurant window. The jeep and other cars were in the street.
That's good.
