I try and try to not be prejudice or hate any people. Not unless they show me, with their actions, they don't deserve respect. But I have accepted that I am against the middle eastern people. They treat their women like dog shit. Worse thing about it, the women are ok with it. Just disgusting. I want nothing to do with any of them. Treat all your people equally.
The fact any place would think it is ok for a 9 year old, man or woman, to be married is disgusting. Don't give me any bull shizzle like "religion". That just shows it is sad anyone follows any kind of religion,.

They already have , its 9 years for female , and 15 years for male , and they can get approval for numbers different to that.

If you are asking.. Do I approve? I dont think anyone is the Western world would approve of that.

Given that they killed my friend’s families for being Baha’i decades ago I’m not sure why this is all that surprising anymore unfortunately. Their government is a theocracy and those are universally awful.

The legal age for marriage in Iran is 9-13 for girls and 15 for boys, unless there is court order for children 9 or younger with parents or guardian approval <---My quick google search.

It's already legal there, so I don't know what you're really asking.

On the second leg, it is a bit bloody young!! We do need to be some what mature. Various cultures endorse arranged marriages and I imagine it s related to that. Whether such marriages are consummated is not a given. One might hope not.

I don't know enough about Iranian politics to know the story there. If that's a true story, then I'm really sad. A fully grown man has no business taking an 8 year old girl for a wife.

That kind of thing isn't unheard of in that part of the world though. Persians and Arabs are two VERY different groups of people, but there's a similar sort of thing that also happens with boys in Arab countries.

Permission in Iran 🇮🇷 isn’t required for marriage. It doesn’t matter how old the girl is. Girls and women don’t have rights to refuse a marriage proposal.
