Nobody was interested in what the old style Republicans were pushing. They were the party of the rich, the Bush /Cheney crew. If you were not a millionaire then forget it. Trump has made the Republican party more inclusive. It was obvious that there were millions of Americans who were left behind by the Republicans and also did not fit in with how crazy the democrats were. Trump saw an opportunity to tap into that.

Real;ity check, just like the Demosratic party has evolved, the Republican party has evolved too. Reagan was elected 45 years ago. Bush was elected 20 years ago. Do you think John Kennedy would be a Democrat today? Truman?

The major policy differences between Trump and Reagan are 1) Reagan outsourced jobs to China, Canada, Mexico, etc. where as Trump wants American manufacturing here at home. As a result Reagan promoted Free Trade which was the death of the American worker, and Trump promotes tariffs and wants to protect the American worker. 2) As part of Reagan's internationalism (Globalism) he expanded the Cold War with the USSR, created new foreign wars by invading Grenada, and fought a number of proxy wars in Latin America and the Middle East with the contras which embroiled American citizens in hostage scenarios. In contrast, Trump wants no new wars and wants to invest in America First and is opposed to all the foreign spending and Americans being held hostage.

Thus it is easy to determine that your primary interests are in being a war mongering globalist that is buddy buddy with China. So why not bight the bullet and move to China. Then you can be buddy buddy with them and you can assist in their war mongering efforts to attack Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, India, and even Russia. You can assist in their belt and road initiative to expand into various nations and infiltrate their governments and carry out silent coups in Africa, Latin America, and throughout central Asia. China sounds like exactly what you are looking for in a country.

Otherwise Reagan was a cult of personality, deemed as the "Great Communicator" because he went out to talk to the people, just like Trump does with his Trump rallies. Both are for smaller government, less regulation, federal tax cuts, opposition to the spread of communism which Reagan called the "Evil Empire" and Trump calls the "Invisible Enemy", both want a strong military, Reagan was supportive oif a missile system and Starwars and Trump created the Space Force and wants an American Iron Dome.

Both Reagan and trump vowed to protect medicare and social security but make cuts to other agency budgets by targeting waste , fraud, and abuse. Both produced lower unemployment when they were in office, transfered power from the federal government to state government and corporations, both fight the war on drugs, both were wounded by an assassins bullet, both asked if you are better under his leadership or the other guy (i. e. Biden did that), both had to deal with high inflation and high interest rates.

A third possible difference between the two candidates is 3) the national debt ballooned under Reagan dragging America down and Trump claims to want to reduce the national debt. So it's pretty easy to see that you are an enemy of the American people and don't really care about many of Reagan's policies. It's just the missing globalist war mongering deficit spending that destroys America that you really want.
