As to my homeland calling on the USA for help...

Historically we actually call Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India and basically every other English speaking country first. In 1914 when the rest of the world was busy fighting German aggression you lot were too chicken shit to get involved until the Germans sank one of your ships.

In 1939 when Hitler and Hirohito were busy decimating the planet, again you were too afraid to get involved. So you waited until the Japanese hit you. For everyone else on the fucking planet (except Switzerland because that country is somehow impenetrable so nobody attacks them) the biggest conflict in history was going on for a full two years before you got involved.

Since then the only time America has stood up to someone their own size was when JFK refused to back down over Cuba. I'm sure in Arlington there's a rattling as he's spinning in his grave over Biden's treasonous decision to arm Ukraine with the ability to strike Russia this week. Every other conflict the USA has got involved with they hit because they thought it was an easy win.
