If I was younger then maybe I would go. That said, its not that necassery. Russia has already run out of steam. They are struggling with recruitment, their economy is in ruins, they only have 300 or so tanks in good condition left in storage and the quality of their troops has plummeted. They are in a dire situation and are not making any meaningful headway.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is still being materially supported by the west and they have millions of conscripts signing up to fight.

Simply put, Russia failed both at grinding down Ukraine's military as well as their attempts to overwhelm Ukraine's military with overwhelming power. Russia is doomed, its just a matter of time. Maybe it won't be 5 months, maybe not even 2 years, but the best of Russia's military power is already dead and buried in Ukraine and there is no coming back for them at this point.

Ukraine released an app where you can sign up and they got over a million volunteers like the first day. They are not lacking recruits as such. They are lacking equipment and the number of troops they can train at one time. Also the rate that Russia is advancing they will capture Ukraine in about 500 years or so.

Yeah, that is a news article. It does not have all its facts straight and it attempts to make it into a compelling story by emphasizing sensationalist parts.

Obviously you are anonymously trolling and that badly. Having said that, I thought about going for a hot minute. But fact is I am ten years too old to reach the fitness level I think is needed for infantry. Also the channels I am watching are dissuading people from joining directly and are pointing to the various fundraisers and useful donations, where I participated several times.
