As much as I would love to say yes. I feel the government is unfit to take care of its own people. There are so many people that need help in this country. I'm from Canada. And it's so expensive to live here. I've lived here my whole life and it's hard to get by sometimes. I think the government needs to sort out how to take care of their own people before they start letting other people from other countries in. My country borders with Ukraine and we're obliged according to international law to grant war refugees asylum for time of war. Of course this law doesn't apply for Syrians of people from Afghanistan, because we don't have a border with those countries.

So even if I support Ukraine and think we should take in any refugees coming, it should be done the old way, ie ww2. Where people got integrated into society.

There is a chronic under supply of housing meaning that it's almost impossible for first time buyers. House prices have risen here by about 30+£ grand in the last two years for a starter home. There's simply not enough housing here, for a start.
