Why is a story with white protagonists normal, but with minority protagonists is woke?

I noticed a pattern, every time the protagonists are not white they call them woke. Why does this happen?

The problem isn't the minority protagonist. It's the intentions behind it. Hollywood has stopped producing entertainment and focusses only on woke messaging. And when they take a story with a white protagonist and put a black one in their place, it's clear why they are doing it. I guarantee there is a black Snow White in our future, and I won't be seeing it. Not because it has a black protagonist, but because I won't support "entertainment" meant to push a woke political and social agenda.

Wokeness has gotten out of control in the US. And like me, most American' are fed up with it. It's one of the big three reasons the Dems lost the elections this year.
