Anti, though I would have them if the law said I could not that I think it should.

The reason is obvious, legally allowing guns leads to a certain % of those who shouldn't have guns get them more easier and that causes problems others having guns don't solve.
If you let everyone have nukes you only increase the chance some crazy one will fire it, the sane ones won't but the end result don't matter that the responsible ones didn't.

But at the same time if everyone already has them there is no point not having it, as the inevitable will happen anyway, which is why states in America are screwed whether they try to control it or not it's too far gone.
Unlike other countries that didn't allow it get out of hand with anyone allowed, and having a negative culture to it you won't see the likes of Chicago over here.

Because I think everybody needs one if you are responsible you take a hunter safety course you have your guns locked up there's nothing wrong with having guns if you're responsible you're good if nobody else can get to them you're good but you have to have a safe room or you have to have them put in a place where they can't get taken from I like to hunt I like to shoot Target I like to protect myself if I ever had to

Anti-gun, because the world would be a much better place if no one had them, if they'd never been invented.

Unlike other tools or inventions, their only purpose is to kill. Knives are useful, they're used in cooking for instance, and cars are a means of getting from Point A to Point B, so they still serve a useful purpose even though they cause countless deaths every year. The same cannot be said about guns.

Pro gun. I grew up in Britain where we aren't allowed guns, not even pepper spray, in fact any weapon for self defence is banned. There is a problem in England with knife crime and gang rapists so going to and from school my sister used to carry our hockey sticks, pretending it was for hockey practice.

I have travelled most of the Middle East, Europe as well as far East. In my 40 odd years, I have had to use a gun exactly zero times. The only times I fired guns were for recreation, a spot of range shooting, and some wild hunting we did in Nepal.

The situation in the USA is no less than what they deserve for being of nation of gun totting psychotics. So the criminals need to defend themselves against the uncivilised as much as the reverse.

100% pro-second amendment. Owning anything up to and including any semiautomatics is an essential right. Law abiding citizens should be allowed to buy or sell guns without restrictions, whether for collecting, hunting, sporting or self defense.
Only people convicted of violent crime should be restricted. And selling to them should be illegal.
I also support concealed carry once competency has been demonstrated.

Pro-gun criminals do not go to gun stores to buy guns and then hold up stores, and banks, hijack cars, and murder criminals go to the corner and buy anything from a 22 to a machine gun with no paperwork no trail no waiting for permits no criminal record check. More gun laws help criminal, not law-abiding people

I'm on the fence. I feel military and law enforcement and other protective agencies should carry. There is really no need for anyone else. This is no longer the wild west. You can't just shoot your neighbor as much as you often want to.
