I don't necessarily think guns should be prohibited, but I also don't think they should be coveted nearly as much as they are in America. A lot of people have a frankly weird and unhealthy obsession with them, especially when it becomes some sort of creepy revenge fantasy. I think the people who buy guns should pass safety classes and a background check, but mostly I think guns are used as a divisive issue to polarize groups of people into supporting bad legislation on both sides of the political spectrum.

I think that they should be regulated more definitely but I think we all have the right to have guns. I think they should be harder to obtain, where I live in Maine it's pretty fucking easy t ok get a gun only need permit to conceal I think that's kinda messed up. Tbh: yes. Like im anti-war. I’ll go see a war film or an action movie. But do I want that in everday life? Of course not.

But also a realist. No ones taking away your guns. But we can get the extraneous guns off the streets with buyback programs and we can have mental health and other barriers when buying guns.
