if Trump turns his back on NATO it might be a problem. He said he is no longer going to protect NATO if they don't pay the US. If NATO starts paying then I don't think it matters.
I am not sure, but it doesn't seem like a big deal. I'd rather not be a BRICS nation. BRICS nations said they were going to over throw the US dollar and they didn't do shit the whole time because they were too pussy to do anything when they had the chance. They are mostly a buch of pussies who talk a big game, but never back it up, so I wouldn't worry too much about them.
I have worries that Tulsi Gabbard the Russian ass kisser will try to convince Trump to reconsider their offer to become a BRICS nation. Everyone else in Trumps cabinet I like, but Tulsi Gabbard I am not sure about her. But for the most part I think the BRICS are too pussy to do anything like always they were talking a bunch of shit and how BRICS was going to take off and they did nothing. The UAE was scared of Biden cuting him off they just sat there and took it up the ass.
"if Trump turns his back on NATO it might be a problem. He said he is no longer going to protect NATO if they don't pay the US. If NATO starts paying then I don't think it matters."
This is much less important now because thanks to President Trump in his first term, a number of NATO countries were already forced to stop freeloading off of America and violating their agreement to pay the 2% they are required to pay for their own defense instead of making American taxpayers pay their bills for them like they had been for the last 100+ years.
There are still some deadbeat leeches in NATO who need to start paying up, but I have no doubt President Trump will fix that problem in his second term. All he has to do is say pay up or you are on your own and they will write the checks the same day.
Yeah I know that's why I am not worried about it.
It wouldn't impact all BRICS countries, but it would definitely be a major blow for Brazil, India, China, South Africa, and UAE. They have way more to lose than the USA in a trade war. It's a divide and conquer scenario. The countries impacted the most will be willing to negotiate and thus either pressure the other nations to do what America wants, or fracture the relationship to save their own ass.
@Bricealan Don't worry, when those countries are looking at losing 10-20% of their exports overnight and all they can do is threaten America with 0.5% to 1% of our exports they don't really have any leverage in the deal. China has the best chance out of the names I listed of damaging America, but they'd have to be willing to hemorrhage 15% of their exports which is devastating and food security would become a very real issue for them. They currently depend on the USA to keep their people alive. America wears the pants.
Other countries and presidents would start wars to combat the economic assault from BRICS. President Trump pioneered Americas most brilliant foreign strategy in history when he realized he could replace war with Americas most powerful weapon: economic domination.
American economic dominance is the most powerful weapon in the world and he has figured out how America can use it to get anything it wants without firing a single shot, costing hundreds of billions of dollars or getting any of our soldiers killed. No country on the planet can withstand it. And it is the most humane weapon in the world too.
In his last term he demanded that Mexico put 30,000 of their troops on the US border to prevent illegal border crossings into our country. They said they have to think about it. He told them the alternative is a tariff on everything we buy from them. They called him back the same day and said that they would be delighted to put those troops on the border. AND THEY DID... leading to the most secure border in US history without costing our taxpayers a dime. That is until the Democrats took over and dismantled the entire deal selling out to Mexico.
The party is over for all these countries that think they can leech off of and use America like a cheap whore while stabbing us in the back. Treat America right or pay the price.
@RingOfFire No truer words were ever spoken
You do realise that, American industry is heavily depending upon China
What if China also starts sanctions and cripples US industrialists? It has a bigger inner market, it has a government banked planned economy wheras US is basically half a dozen different interest groups being needed to governed
@Darklydarkened The US sends about 10% of it's exports to China and China sends about 15% of it's exports to the USA. There is mutual trade, but China has a little more to lose. The big problem for China, is that they are not self sufficient when it comes to food. For example 44% of total U. S. soybean exports go to China and at times it's been as high as 71%, because China is very inefficient at farming so they buy food commodities from the USA to keep their population alive. If China ends up in a harsh trade ward with America with 100% tariffs for example, China could very well see a population crash as tens of millions of Chinese starve to death. Talk about playing Russian roulette...
And what will soybean producers do? Just sit on their asses and say "God bless America?"
US government will never do a thing against the interests of big agricultural industries.
@Darklydarkened It's a commodity crop. You grow it for 50 to 145 days depending on conditions and then harvest it with a combine. If demand is low for soybean, then other crops get rotated into the field. You can change anual crops and still use the same land and equipment. That's not to say we'd stop growing it all together though. We consume half of our production domestically. There are also other markets that buy and sell soybean. Like I said it is a commodity... America is just very efficient at producing soybean when compared to many nations, especially China giving us a competitive advantage in the markets when it comes pricing and profits. China is also a major producer of soybean, but like I said they are very inefficient at it. Their production costs are over double that of America, so they tend to buy large amounts from the USA to keep food prices affordable. If that is interrupted, then people in China have to pay a lot more for food and will likely go hungry. I'm sure Brazil could help them with soybean was their only concern, but it's much broader than just one crop for China. They have a serious food security issue and they depend on America to keep them alive since America is the world's largest food exporter.
**if that was
@Darklydarkened The most realistic outcome would be that China facing 100% tariffs in the USA would be willing to pay more for the commodities they need from other countries. They may not want to pay 100% more to the USA, but they could drive prices higher globally by exerting local demand in other markets which in turn would cause other nations to buy more soybean for example from the USA to act as a middle man to China. America would likely just make more money and whoever acted as a middle man would as well. China would pay more but probably split the difference through inefficiency of trade and transport.
To put it simply, America is the biggest, wealthiest customer in the world. No country is going to want to piss off their best customer for long. Could it be a battle for a while? Sure it could be. But it's better to fight a war with trade tariffs and with guns and missiles. If diplomacy doesn't work you need war, whether military or economic. And to win a war you need to make sacrifices for a worthy end.
Too many countries have been taking too much liberty with America for too long. They have been taking America for granted. And that includes some that are considered otherwise allies. President Trump is doing a reset of those relationships and it's long overdue.
But it's better to fight a war with trade tariffs THAN with guns and missiles.
Or, they can just resort to Brazil and Argentina
It's ridicilous to assume such measures will work even in mid-term. Even Russia, somehow manages under extreme sanctions
@RingOfFire
And you, basically claim that US is licenced to do however it pleased and can justly wage war just to maximise its own profit.
China, a country that has never actively expanded outside of its hinterland, is basically becoming a way more efficient in organisational capabilities and becomes a formidable rival
And US is suddenly supposed to wage war. Pff, without China, US economy would crumble two decades ago
@Darklydarkened Nazi fatancies are funny... I can see why you guys lost WWII.
No correlation at all. Weird that a lot of American republicans have overall same arguments with Nazis, and of course, they randomly call others so
@Darklydarkened You're a Ukrainian Nazi. Me calling you that isn't random, and you're not very smart because the math doesn't math up. Brazil already sends 73% of their soybean to China. Their remaining exports of soybean are not large enough to match Americans exports to China even if they out bid every other buyer they will still come up short. Like I said, I can see why you guys lost WWII. You're short sighted. You don't do your research. You don't know basic math. That's why you guys failed, you just don't have the IQ.
Meanwhile America agriculture is a diversified market and we can easily switch to different field crops dependent on global demand. As I already stated, America is the world's largest food exporter. If China stresses soybean markets in other nations, then maybe other nations decide they want to buy peas and so America grows peas instead. America will do fine, China will pay more and struggle to find enough to feed their people.
I'm not even Ukranian ffs.
"Hello world, we have an excellent plan to snuff out China"
"How?"
"Soybean!"
It's insane that you're serious with this. And besides, if you assume I'm Ukranian, you should remember that Ukranians were on the side that won because, well, soviets!
Short sighted my ass. Most their imports come from Argentina and Brazil, wheras some dumbass American think China is stupid enough to rely on US for it's livestock feed. They buy double the amount from Brazil than US, plus the Argentina, and if they're forced, they can find expensive alternatives to outlast it.
As I said, sanctions didn't even stop Putin, let alone China
China's been shifting it's relience to South America for nearly half a decade, worst case scenerio, they'll toil a few years to balance things out. It's not as if there can be a public reaction that would change political athmosphere there
And I just love how you think if you do not produce soybeans, somebody else will want peas instead. Because why would someone not grow peas instead of importing it from half a world away.
Apart from this all, Chinese do not grow things because it doesn't suit their planning. If they're really have to, they will be able to sustain themselves, have no worries on that.
Naive American thinks they're so supreme, so great, so "diversified" they can push anything to anyone.
These are the guys who won half the wars they've been. Spending trillions of US dollars to build a nation in Afghanistan to utmost failure, fumbled in Iraq and caused fucks like ISIS in the region
But yeah, I'm short sighted, whaddaya know, soybean is the key to bring China down
Meanwhile while China tries to gobble up the global soybean market to feed their people, they start taking from countries like India, Turkey, Bangladesh, Peru, Vietnam, Paraguay, Moroco, and Chile... So those nations in turn move away from China and have to buddy buddy up to the USA to meet their soybean demands. Like a said a middle man is the most likely outcome, but if Brazil wants to save China just to spite India it still has the same effect. A division in BRICS is stirred up. It is painful for the entire group.
Countries you count has big friction with American set of rules and at best, they'll want to remain neutral.
The most Pro-American of them is Turkey, which really says something.
Yeah whatever, Brazil wanting to trade is "just to spite India"
Because why would Brazil want an alternative to US hegemony? Right?
You don't know how to read so get lost.
If you weren't mildly retarded you'd apply your questions to China. China grows soybean domestically, but they also import soybean. Why? I already answered that but you failed at reading comprehension. Why would China import soybeans from around the world when they can grow their own? Ukrainian Nazis are so fucking retarded.
Look Mom,, we're soviets! We won the war!

Like I said American farmers will grow whatever the market demands. Current soybean prices are $9.86 per bushel. In comparison Green Peas are running $10.75 - $11.00 per bushel. Both are nitrogen fixing crops for rotation with corn which is nitrogen depleting. So why an American farmer might grow peas in place of soybean is market driven. The price per bushel is higher because currently it has greater demand. If a different crop is in more demand, an American farmer might grow that. Soybean farmers don't just know how to grow soybeans. Companies around the world buy commodities from farmers at the best price and farmer produce what is in demand because they are running a business. If there is less demand for American soybeans due to China looking elsewhere America will produce what the market wants. China on the other hand still has to find food somewhere, and like I said America is the world's largest food exporter. It's not a soybean specific problem for them as I've repeated three times now. But again you're not that bright.
Brics countries like India and China make their money by selling cheap goods made with cheap labor but automation and AI is cutting in to that. Russia makes its money through oil/gas but are being forced to sell at a 3rd of the price.
What if the us can make its manufactured goods cheaper in thd us than the Chinese and Indians can?
That would be the end for China for sure. Even though China use slave labor, if we can make America great again we can get back to pioneering the technologies that bring costs down so much that slave labor can no longer compete.
By doing so we could also liberate slaves in countries like China.
Certainly better than sending us dollars abroad to build the economies and militaries of rival nations.
How did you get so smart at your age?
What I get a kick out of is watching the pro China, anti-American, anti-Israeli Democrats support a country that is enslaving Muslims as they hold their pro Muslim/Palestinian protests.
If it wasn't for Satan and ignorance, the Democrat party would have been abolished after the Civil War. It is the party of evil.
"The Chinese Communist Party’s command and control economy exploits religious and ethnic minorities, such as the predominantly Muslim Uyghurs, through forced labor that directly contributes to a variety of products on the international market.
Through oppressive persecution tactics, including the demolition of religious buildings and symbols and the rewriting of holy texts, China’s policy of Sinicization targets all religious and ethnic groups that do not follow the Chinese Communist Party’s dictates."
No. Stupid can't be fixed. People on this site will tell you that cryptocurrency is bad. But the richest human on the planet is buying up Dogecoin. I'm pretty sure he's the guy that rescued those astronauts. But what does he know? And he's on the Trump team.

US is trying to push the world into a Second Cold War and Trump definetly wants India, Russia and China to form their own alternative to Nato countries.
Brics is basically Chinese socio economical sphere, and as it's main force grows, it won't have major problems.
The supposedly liberal, free market countries are becoming increasingly hostile towards Eurasian economies particularly since Covid.
he's saying don't create an other currency. I suspect they delay it, but not the end of brics meetings and goals and such.
might deter others from joining.
So hating on him being smart about counties undermining money or don't like that he targeted another country?
Maybe he is just blaming them for inflation?
Not following you. Can you explain your point better?
Are you saying that YOU hate Trump, that I hate Trump, or directing your comment to other people who hate Trump?
My opinion on what? I don't understand what your question is. The post is about President Trump challenging BRICS because they are attempting to undermine the US dollar which threatens US economic security.
I'm not saying I disagree with you. But I am not sure exactly what you are asking or suggesting. Please write a longer explanation.
@RingOfFire I don't think she understands the question or how to respond>
I don't want to criticize her, I am sincerely interested in understanding what she has to say. But I need more details on what she is asking or what point she wishes to make. It's not clear.
Is she supporting what President Trump is doing about BRICS? Or is she opposed to it. It isn't clear to me.
