New York is quickly moving to the right compared to the rest of the US. Could we see a pro life conservative NYC soon?

I wouldn't count on it.

That said, if you look back at the last 50 years, seems like things get really bad in NY City, they elect a Republican mayor who cleans things up about once in a generation and then then go back to Dem's who mess things up again.

It's about time for the next one... it's been a while since Rudy Giuliani left office.

The vast majority are democrat. Cities generally have a lot of welfare recipients and democrats keep promising more welfare so they get re elected.
