Well…I try not to grave dance, and it probably warrants mentioning that I had no idea who this guy was until he was gone. And he did have a family, with children, who I’m sure live very well, but they don’t go into work with Dad everyday, and maybe aren’t old enough to grasp the ugly side of their father’s business.

That said…. health insurance companies are the goddamn devil, and don’t give a fuck if you die as long as it prevents one shiny nickel from rolling out the door. I know some people have shit to say about Michael Moore, but everyone should see the documentary Sicko, about the U. S. healthcare system and insurers. Heartbreaking stuff. And it could happen to any of our families or close friends at any time, so it should hit close to home if you aren’t a 1%-er.

People probably died under this guy’s watch, for the sake of profit. That’s pretty foul. And it’s easy to envision a scenario where a surviving loved one had a vendetta. Remains to be seen.

So, regular people are upset that rich people allow their loved ones to die? Threats and political violence have been normalised by Republicans.

Who else has caused regular people's deaths? McConnell, by turning SCOTUS over to the Federalist Society and banning abortions? Republicans generally, by trying frequently to overturn the ACA and take away millions of people's coverage (especially anyone with pre-existing conditions)? Rail executives who didn't want to spend money on century-old better braking systems? Chemical companies who built explosive fertiliser factories near old people's homes?

Why should millions of Americans not do the same back? Everyone seems to care about SUPER RICH billionaires when they die but when someone dies from lack of healthcare from policies that have been put in place by the billionaires nobody bats an eye with no sympathy but laugh at them.
