What empire wouldn't conquer Canada?

For decades lots of Canadians have lorded over Americans about how we are imperialist and don't have politician run and taxpayer funded healthcare, and countless other things.

But for decades Canadians have been freeloaders living on the good grases of Americans, and their leftist like Trudeau generally act like petty spoiled deposits (see how he treated the trucker).

Keeping the world safe so petty dictators and despots don't just invade everyone requires looking strong enough that they don't figure they can win. Canada has as much land and resources as the united States, and the longest coast line in the world.

What empire in history wouldn't simply take all that land and resources which Canada is too busy pampering themselfs to defend for themselfs? Indeed Canada only exist because the last global Empire in fact did.

If the united states was an Empire other's call it, Canada would not exist.

The sad part about that is that Canadians hate Americans and laugh when our economy is bad

I have found that Canadians are insecure about their country because it really doesn't make sense as a separate country and they know it.

Long gone are the days where they were a proud outpost of the brittish empire loyal to the King, and reliant upon the same. Today the key defining attribute of Canada no longer exist or is important making them basically the same as their rebellious kin who ditched the same king 100 years before.

Geography makes the problem worse they are 10 provinces in a line east to west across a content which is orientated North-south by mountains. Meaning they will never really get along with the barriers in climate and trade between them desperate and apart from their kin to the south.

This is why Canada is not really its own country and they do more trade with us than they do with each-other, and would only be impoverished were such trade not to exist.

They do not have the distinct geography, culture, or economics to be one. They could be 5 or more countries. But together as they are they are very unbalanced politically.

Takes a lot of loyalty to put up with this crap and Canadians are running out.

Althou the point is America is NOT an empire and the existence of Canada is evidence of that fact.

We Americans would easily take over Canada if we ever were an empire.
It would be even easier than taking over Iraq which had more people, a better military, all on the other side of the world.

Against Canada right next door with nearly all of its population within 100 miles of the border. The entire U. S. military could be deployed with almost no logistical overhead.

There wold also be almost no cultural issues in the occupation, this would be easier than the occupation of the former confederacy. A country 3 times the relativist size of Canada.

Once again the only real problem is we wouldn't want to bother, both because we are not an empire and frankly Canada is already a puppet state we currently don't have to give a vote to.
