I don't have a problem with offering money for eggs, however the practice of selecting for such physical perfection is not good for the species. If anything we have demonstrated that our learned judgement and the ability to comply are not necessarily good.

It is after all the "smartest" that have been talked into ending their own family line. Which is really just illustrating what nature should have already taught us about how long it took to develop intelligence compared to how easily we can make AI.
The fact is"intelligence" is a 2 edge sword, it is far more likely to devastate the population that has it in short order with bad ideas than preserve it with a chain of good ideas.

The point is we should not be trying to control our species gene pool like this. We don't have the wisdom or experience to make good judgements.

Selective breeding works in racehorses, cattle, and all farm animals and vegetables. Therefore, it will work with humans. Breeding to the best produces the best. That is why so many college scholarship athletes had parents who were outstanding athletes.

Except Selective breeding doesn't work with racehourses, cattle or almost any other farm animals. Most of those new species will go extinct in fairly short order if humans were to disappear to stop using them.
They were selectively bread for traits we humans thought at the time was valuable, have numerous issues and generally can no longer survive in the wild some can't really even reproduce without us.

We humans do no have the wisdom and good judgement to guild other species much less ourselfs in deciding what will be needed or not needed. If we should decide to selective breed or engineer on any scale we could easily back ourselfs into such a situation without realizing the direction was an incorrect one.

in the case of farm animals theses animals were bread for a single propose of being food, this is in the short term stable and measurable but already we can foresee a day when they will be obsolete replaced by less expensive labs and theses animals are likely to go extinct. Having already been bread into said corner.

Since I have no idea of how much physical pain a woman goes through to have her eggs harvested. 50k might be a reasonable amount of money.
With the “Specialty requirements “ that the want ad suggests. I am sure those people would have the money to make things worthwhile!

I know a women who went through it for her sister. It failed but it had made her feel so bad she wouldn't go for a second round. So I don't think it is necessarily money for jam.

Assuming that the couple will take the usual chance on boy or girl, they should insist on the female donor having brothers with large penises as that trait comes from the female line. Allegedly but it couldn't hurt even if not exactly true.
