once one state legalizes it and the politicians see all the money being made they will all go for it. Instead of trying to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US they are basing the economy on gambling, cannabis and prostitution.

It will be legalized when politicians figure out how to easily tax it and also freely use it themselves. It is only worth legalizing if it's proceeds can be added to the general monetary payoffs of corruption.
