If any particular Canadian province wants to join the United States they should declare Independence from Canada, and then join the USA as a territory and begin the constitutional process toward statehood. I'm not against the idea, but I think they'd have to take that upon themselves. They have had an invitation in the past, and they shot at us, so if they've changed their mind let it be known. Otherwise I assume they aren't interested.
