Are less people going on social media and watching the news?

I no longer watch the news, and I seldom go on social media (just sometimes this site basically). I've been much happier.

Not watching the news will definitely make you happier but like the adage goes ignorance is bliss.

I'd actually read an article saying that more people are engaged in social media because it provides barriers and filters to reality which can definitely be depressing and enraging.

I don't have ANY social media.

I use what's app

And I go on here.

I dont watch the news or papers.

We live in a prison system, just trying to figure it out.

I don't watch the news as often as in the past when I thought the news would bring happy stories as opposed to bad ones. I still watch but less.

TV news is dead. They sold their souls for ratings… which ironically they do not have anymore. They are tabloids now. X is the media now.

nobody watches the news and Facebook is dead but other social media sites are still popular.
