No, I feel like this is just the pendulum swinging the other way after being pushed very very hard for years.

I mean, just 20 years ago Bill Clinton was a different man "The left at its best tears down walls that shouldn’t have been there, and the right at its best stops the left from tearing down walls that should be there"

Fast forward to when his wife needs support for her presidential bids and the term progressive is born, as well as the distinct "far left" distinct from Bernie Sanders version.

I think Trump winning is preferable to the alternative of puppets and shills like Biden winning.

Well let’s see here. After trump was wrongly:

convicted of a bullshit specious charge in the Manhattan court were the juror Pool was selected from a voting block that is 85% democrat
falsely accused of rape and forced to pay Eugene Carole (who couldn’t even remember the year the incident occurred) $85 million and later bragged about how she was going to spend the money
given an insane record setting judgment ($485M) via Leticia James in a unprecedented move that was fully politically intended to bankrupt
targeted in two assassination attempts. In the first he was only millimeters away from certain death.

constantly slandered and libeled by the mass media

And given all above I am very happy to see Trump winning. And want him to keep on winning. He’s been absolutely hell and back and he deserves every inch of the victory

Nope. Because while I'm not a Trump supporter by any means. It's pretty clear to me what drives his popularity. Yes there are SOME Kool-aid drinkers that think Trump can walk on water. But the REALITY is most are just fed up voters. They don't love Trump. They hate the opposition. They hate the deomcrat narrative that they're the champion of the common man and that they want to make your life better. All while raising the national debt on failed programs that do nothing but placate thier lobby ensuring thier next re-election.

If and that is a big "If" Trump is the end of our democracy. The democrats, not just the Republicans have to put thier hand up and take the responsibility they played in it's destruction.

But I promise you. There's only one thing the fear more than this. And that is thatTrump actually pulls this off (I'm not pretending he will) and actually gives this country it's soul back, and usher in a new golden age in America. Because they know that will be the end for them. Possibly to useless parties that do nothing but prop up those parties.

I doubt that ever would happen though. I think both parties would dispose of Trump and potentially usher in coup d'etat first.

why, he didn't lose, so now it is time to get to work.
I do understand that there are a lot of people that are wanting him to fail so they can go see I told you so, or no matter how much good he does for the country he will never get oh, I guess he wasn't as bad as I thought.
So, every win is just one more reason he was chosen by the vast majority of people.
Like him or not he is who was voted into office.
Probably if the dems would have presented a viable candidate that went through the process the results may have been different.
But that was their decision and look what happened.
Now they are so busy pointing fingers at each other as to why they lost, they still have no clue as to why the people were sick and tired of what was going on to their country and voted for the other guy.

There seems to be a rich field of lawsuits he could take but I don't understand what is protected speech in the US and what isn't.

If a journalist just makes shit up then I think it a social good if they face penalties for that. Obviously there is a need for news to be somewhat factual. Commentary should also have some factual foundation too.
