They are being held liable. Their audience does not take them seriously anymore as they expended their credibility doing political favors. No one watches TV news now.

MSNBC just had their worst ratings and the Hallmark Channel beat them in viewers! The Hallmark Channel! Think about that.

Independent media does the same thing. Alex Jones said, "Obama will start World War III" a decade ago. The independent isn't held responsible for what they say either. So we should treat everyone justly, but people in the Independent media don't want to be held liable for what they say either. Independent media has all the money now and they don't want to deal with legal problems, so I think they will just let the main stream media slide. If you punish the main stream media you will have to punish the independent media they both have something to lose.

Trump even said he is fine with the main stream media now because they are being nice to him. The Morning Joe hosts from msnbc already kissed the ring and Trump is forgiving them. Cenk Uygur is also kissing the ring too and he's MAGA now.

They are both going to just make as much money as they can and not hold anyone liable Trump said he would only go after them again if they stop being nice to him.
