Meanwhile in reality land the USA is a net petroleum exporter. In 2023 the USA exported 1.64 million b/d above what we imported. America produced more oil domestically than we use as a country. The only reason America imports oil at all is due to geopolitics and as a result chemistry. The deep state faggots you suck off, for decades have steered America away from energy independence in the name of globalism. As a result, rather than using American oil which is the best light sweet crude in the entire world making it the easiest and cleanest to refine, imports garbage heavy sour crude oil from places like Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Iran, Syria, Egypt, and Russian. This allows your deep state faggots to create supply shocks in the market to rake in huge profits by generating instability around the world. If we focused on domestic production and refining of our own oil our market would be stable and cheap. But nope, you keep voting for the deep state so as a result refineries like ExxonMobil’s Beaumont and Baytown refiners in Texas and Marathon Petroleum’s Garyville refiner in Louisiana exist for the sole purpose of importing foreign heavy sour crude that cause more pollution and use more energy from around the world. The shitty ass Democrat faggots you keep voting for, purposely bog down American oil production and refining with regulation fees to make American lifting fees higher and foreign oil cheaper even after shipping. Thus those refineries exist and depend on foreign oil. It is a self inflicted wound. America could easily produce everything we need if you just get rid of the deep state.

That why your idols like Hillary Clinton fund rebels in Syria, and her minion Huma Abedin promotes protests in Iran, and pushes Israel to war and why Obama and Biden provoke Ukraine to go to war with Russia. It's so they can make lots of fucking money on oil futures. You vote for them, they push war, people die, and then they collect money from the rising prices due to instability. They use your tax payer dollars to create that instability, then you pay higher prices at the pump, and America gets more heavily polluted than it would otherwise. Why did you think there were sanctions on Russian oil? Remember that;s one of the major places heavy sour crude oil comes from. That's what you vote for, to make deep state faggots richer.

Trump could mitigate that problem created by the deep state. It would take a little time and he'd have to reduce regulations and allow more oil leases in the Gulf of Mexico and in Alaska on the North Slope around the National Petroleum Reserve and Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, but people like you will cry bloody murder oh the environmental;l impacts and global warming blah blah blah. We don't want heavy sour crude from Alaska it will destroy the arctic, but we need that heavy sour crude from a couple hundred miles away across the Canadian border in the arctic because in Canada the environmental impacts don't exist in the arctic, it only happens in America. Don't put tariffs on Canada and keep crippling American oil producers. No we don't want to drill in the Gulf of Mexico around the Gulf states for heavy sour crude, we need to import heavy sour crude from Venezuela that drills in that same Gulf of Mexico for the same oil. When America does it all the poor fish die by using the best technology in the world, but when Venezuela does it with broken aged equipment that hasn't been maintained that they originally acquired from America decades ago, it's completely fine in the same body of water. You guys are too fucking much.

1 yI live in a country of absolute morons, and half of them are in a political cult. So things are not going great, lmao. We may have lost this place for good. I got caught slippin’ and thought America as I knew it would last at least until I died.
Now I’m just so glad I didn’t bring children into the world, I’d never forgive myself.

1 yMagically people will not hold accountable Trump for the same standards they had for Biden.
Tariffs put the burden on importers NOT opposing countries, when importers are charged more they will get it by increasing the charges against corporations, corporations then charge against consumers to fight against the heavy burden. You want a positive net flow, not a negative when it comes to profit. If it costs you $0.50 to make a product though it costs $15 for shipping & handling per unit leaving consumers with $25 price tag…. Once the cost of shipping & handling suddenly jumps to $25, consumers pay $35 price tag. Just makes sense and if the corporate entity believes people won’t spend more then they have to shrink how much product they are actually buying causing shrinkflation.
It is strange we even have to explain this in the first place since 2024 was an easy choice and people made the same shitty mistake.10 Reply - 569 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yWell given the Biden administration regulated the living f*ck out of domestic oil and gas this is unlikely once Trump gets rid of that bullsh*t. Especially if Trump can finally end the Russo Ukraine war.
And if there is a price increase via tariffs it will be temporary. The goal is to force other countries to negotiate with the USA not to burden Americans themselves.
10 Reply 1.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. $2.00 per gallon for 91 octane gas under Trump, then $4.90 per gallon under Biden and later $5.90 for the same gas at the same station 3 months later. Fuel costs more under dishonest Democrats. History has proven it.

Asker1 yYes, working to drive business leaders crazy and crush consumer buying power. Consumers are rushing to buy products BEFORE these across the board tariffs go into effect.

They shouldn't worry. When Trump annexes Canada and renames it "Gay North Dakota" their oil will be domestically produced and not subject to tariffs.

Why aren’t we drilling for our own oil?
01 Reply- 1 y
Biden administration currently drilling for the most oil ever. Don’t believe the hype to the contrary. Domestic oil production in 2023 was bigger than any of Trump’s four years. And Trump claims he wants to do more of it.
The issue isn’t supply and never was, there’s plenty of oil to go around.
