I’m going to say women. Someone mentioned that we are social creatures, which is true but not always, especially for men. Men tend to pick careers that have little to do w interacting w people. Whereas women tend to pick careers that interact w people. Like nurses, counselors, teachers, etc. I spent 10 years in the military. A lot of my friend including myself as well as their friends who I didn’t know that were also in the military want to live a life of a recluse. To live in the country, maybe a their wife, their dog, that’s it. A majority of us want to get away from people in general. I will admit there are certain stars I like that I see on tv, but I’m not going to extremes the way women tend to do. Plus these idiots like the Kardashians, the view, all these talk shows, women made them famous. A majority of men don’t watch that bs. I know I don’t. Then when you look at social media all I see is women showing off their asses, scantly clad, basically naked looking for attention. No by no means am I complaining that’s for sure. Even in high school it was always a popularity contest among girls. I recently went to the east coast, I can’t tell you how many women were out there posing for all these photos like they were all models or something. It was ridiculous. Narcissism most likely.

Men want popularity when it is attention for something bold like a skateboard trick, something gross, or a video game highlight for example.

While women want popularity when it is attention for a little dance clip, or singing or fashion or something like that.

Men and women crave attention and social clout since they are human, it is a human emotion to want attention & be the star of the show. We all have our faults, some more than others AKA Andrew Tate & Hauk Tauha Girl both for rug pulling their fans that trusted them which is definitely a fault.

I would say woman.. look how they always have to put their assets on display constantly.. Plus watching girls in high school and college they were always so pathetic the way the felt the need to be liked and popular constantly.. That was one thing that always disgusted me about my older sister she always put her friends over family and chased their approval. 🤮

At my workplaces. Men are egotistical. They want the attention. Pull everyone's attention. A girl tries to do that people start to question her motives lol.

You are actually right about that with workplace. Men at work 100% do try to get all the attention, but it's usually in the sense of wanting to seem like the Mr. Know-it-all who thinks he's smarter than everyone else, or to prove he's more of a charismatic leader. And they will try to talk over others to be heard.

Women at work also care a lot about being popular in the sense of being the woman who is loved by everyone. I've worked with a lot of them as well, and if you're a guy they will get annoyed that you don't love them like everyone else does.

Soon after girl babies look at faces and boy babies look at mechanical toys more than faces. Social security was always more important to ancient stone age girl for survival. At least for birth.

No birthing mother wants the other women to walk away from her saying 'suck it up bitch'. Being popular and loved has been important to female survival. Female intrasex competition is heavy oriented to excluding competition from the sisterhood.

Well, who cares about social status and want to be accepted more? Women.. More men tend to be okay being loners than women.. I notice that women like to call everyone their friends even if they hardly talk to the person, whereas men take a while to get close to and trust somebody enough to call them friends..

Yes, that is 100% true. I wrote an old Take on that. People try to make it as if men don't have friends because they can't or don't attract people or are anti-social. It's not that at all. Men don't have many friends because men understand that a lot of people are fake and just looking to use one another, whether it's for image or favors. So yes, we take a while to get close to people.

Women on the other hand are desperate to be loved and seen and known, and their friendships often fall apart.

Most men at the gym can't wear a regular gym shirt to exercise but must wear tank top to expose their chest and arms to others and women go to the club and show all their breasts sticking out etc.

The females are always humble while the males are off the chain just to steer in popularity towards them

I've never been upset about men not being into me. That's like the goal 😂 I gave myself a haircut recently to try to scare away men. Even thought about getting realistic fake tattoos and a septum ring since so many men hate those. I also know other women who do the same thing

@Joshydavid25 pretty women don't get approached as much because men think they are high maintenance. And yes men do hound me especially at the gym. I had to recently switch gyms because of this. I also had a man repeatedly asking my age in a store, saying I looked young, then followed me to my car while I was alone with all my kids just to flirt with me. It happens more often then you might think.
