The two old labels of Sociopath and Psychopath are no longer used since there has never been a reliable or consistent differentiation of the two, and they had been primarily used by laypeople who had literally no idea what they might have actually meant. We now subsume such conditions under the DSM label of "antisocial personality disorder or ASPD. We also no long to try to treat this or any personality disorder because such disorders are essentially refractory to treatment, and people with some personality disorders, primarily CLuster B, are a danger to people trying to treat them.
