Institutionalized is not really the right term.

It's more like emergent behavior. Emergent behavior is an apparent behavior of a system that results only due to the independent actions of the individual parts.

We need real basic income where 50% of generated wealth will be distributed among all legal citizens, instead billionaires get 99% of it.
This is only logic when we consider massive work efficiency increase due robotics and AI, but real basic income (not fictional one that will be swallowed by inflation) means end of income slavery. Elites won't allow that because humiliation of lower cast removes their boredom.

That it is, but it’s not the only form of institutionalized greed. Capitalism merely rewards the greed of the extremely wealthy and ambitious.
Social entitlement programs reward the greed of the very poor and lazy. It’s still greed to demand something that you didn’t earn, even if you’re poor.
If you want to end institutionalized greed, the whole system has to be torn down. The working class supports the greed of the uber wealthy and powerful, as well as the deadbeats and criminals. Every single policy and practice that gives people anything that they didn’t earn themselves should be repealed.
That’s exactly what DOGE set out to do, but you lefties lost your f*cking minds over that. So stop being an idiot and a hypocrite. Clean up your side of the street. THEN you can show everyone how easy it is to do things the “right” way and demand they follow suit.

Capitalism has it's strong points. But it also has some massive critical flaws as the OP noted. Capitalism will always lead towards Oligarchy as those who get rich use their wealth to rig the system against every one else. They simply "buy" the government. You need constitutional limits on wealth and bans on private wealth, corporate wealth, and religious donations in politics. Think 99% top tax rate and a total elimination of religious tax exemptions.
