Let's see. When Arizona tried to reduce illegal aliens at the state level, the Supreme Court ruled that only the federal government had the authority to regulate and enforce immigration laws. In other words, Arizona did not have that authority. Liberals cheered.

Now, Newsom wants to do the same thing. Shouldn't the same ruling apply? If it does, would liberals still cheer?

If a state can not enforce the law, then why should a state be allowed to circumvent that same law? Certainly violating the law is worse that enforcing the law, right?
