How do you think the war in Ukraine will end?

Trump will enter office and turn Ukraine over to Russia. Then he will refuse to honor any commitments to NATO, breaking all treaties. He is already set to break the treaties with Panama and forcefully take over the Canal, which will put him at odds with all peaceful countries. Russia already has North Koreans fighting for them. Pretty soon nuclear war will commence. Trump is firing all the intelligent military leaders we have and replacing them with idiots who know nothing about military intelligence or fighting wars. Say goodbye to Ukraine and soon after say goodbye to America.

Ukraine already won. Russia wanted this war to take like 10 days from start to finish. This did not happen. Every day that Russia fails to close out the war is another day that moves the advantage over to Ukraine. Its just a question of when Ukraine wants this war to end now. They could get every last part of their country back from Russian occupation simply by waiting out the Russians who at some point just has to give up.

This is always the dynamic between the attacker and the defender. If the attacker can't finish the job then the defender wins by default.

They've been shedding blood for close to 3 years now.

And I keep hearing "very high casualty rates for Russia" like it feels it is being said every other day. "Ukraine destroys this, that, good hits" and no noticeable territorial changes are being seen since the Kursk incursion some time ago.

Apparently the casualties not high enough to run out of meatshields evidently. And Xi Jinping's China is not yet actively participating in the bloodshed.

Can't really tell. It's pretty much on the 50/50 coin flip likelihood the way this goes.

Russia's current recruiting is drawing in 50 and 60 year old men and the equipment they send to the front lines are converted civilian vehicles. So you can sort of extrapolate what the end chapter will look like, as soon as these ragtag hordes are depleted enough.

If you look past the propaganda and focus on geolocated evidence and key admissions in the back pages (like Russia’s military industrial complex is outproducing the combined West, etc.), it is clear Russia is winning a war of attrition. The 2023 counteroffensive and the foray into Kursk will be remembered as disasters for Ukraine that burned their best trained and equipped forces.
