That said, you should really just put away your silly aversion towards mass immigration. It is an objectively good thing for a country, and it has always been an objective good thing historically. Fear of immigration and mass immigration is literally what businesses and politicians use to control you. "They are taking your jobs!" and all that.

In reality mass immigration is kind of like a free money cheat for the country. Why this is the case it as bit complicated but suffice to say that whenever you have a successful super power, they are always a melting-pot of cultures and benefited from mass immigration.

Sweden has been accepting refugees and immigration a long time now. Those foreign cultures has contributed significantly to Swedens current rise from what used to be pretty much an agrarian society.

The Roman Empire basically survived by conquering new people and new land. Does not mean that they were NICE to those people but the moment they STOPPED expanding AKA taking in new people was also the time they deflated and collapsed. Their whole growth was fueled by an influx of new people and new land. The actual Roman heartland was not sustainable by itself.
