Am I the only one who thinks it's irresponsible of parents to take their kids to backwards, dangerous and underdeveloped countries?

There's this family on YouTube that does exactly this, and I'm shocked that no has called them out on it and people see them as role models.

They're trying to visit every country in the world and this is a map of all the ones they've been to so far...

Am I the only one who thinks its irresponsible of parents to take their kids to backwards, dangerous and underdeveloped countries?

If I had kids, I would never take them to dangerous countries

I'm not saying "underdevelopment" is necessarily linked to danger, but it's link to health hazards. I guess I should have clarified that. In the second link the mom talks about how they all got food poisoning in India and how one of the girls fell violently ill in Ecuador
