My man is always giving off about modern cars and trucks about how there's no manual key slot, criminals can clone your keys, car doors get jammed locked when you crash, can't service them yourself, built to break in 5 years, touch screen dash boards, can't be towed, nowhere for a spare wheel, electronic breaks.

We were given a lend of his brother's new tesla as my man's truck was in the shop, it broke down a mile from his home. The funny thing was that there was another Tesla in the same spot getting picked up be a recovery truck, worked OK because the recovery truck was able to come back real quick.

If you set off a bomb in your car your going to be too dead to care if the doors lock.

If however the sensors that detected the shock of the blast locked the same doors in the presumption of a crash, you are going to care about the doors being more securely closed in the rolling accident that follows.

If your car is sinking in water lock or no lock the water pressure is going to keep you from opening the door regardless you need to have one of those window breaking things.

I don't know, I am not planning on buying a cyber-truck because its ugly and not compatible with many standard truck accessories like campers.

If I did however i would be more interested in it's self-driving feature and thus be less concerned about going into the water.

Auto-locked in the blast… That sounds concerning though, it was caused by fireworks for purposeful destruction & devastation as possible. So it wasn’t like a spontaneous fire in one needs to exit, it was a preplanned attack outside the Trump Tower in a Cybertruck of all things…

Now, I would like to know what made the ‘trashcan on wheels’ auto lock in the first place since IF it was a spontaneous fire would the driver burn to death without a means of escape? That would be interesting to know. I do want to also know how Elon Musk was able to unlock the doors…. That is kinda concerning that a company can activate / deactivate the car owner’s doors and can that be exploited by hackers or something so your belongings can be stolen from the vehicle / hijack the car?

I want a bigger conversation here since it is a fascinating topic that more should think about. It is weird.
