Siberians are Asian.
that ain't white skin
Where do siberians live?
I think climate factors are a factor in human evolution and human adaptations to extreme conditions. Humans groups that faced the same or similar extreme climate conditions may.
For instance Tibetans and Andeans have adapted to live high altitude in the himalayas and andes respectively at altitudes that you or I just couldn't deal with but here's the thing, their adaptations that allow them to live at those altitudes are not the same. The difference being that tibetans have blood cells that can carry more oxygen, while the Andeans have adapted a stronger cardiovascular system, both adaptations solving the same problem of living at high altitude but in different ways.
I think climate factors are a factor in human evolution and human adaptations to extreme conditions. Humans groups that faced the same or similar extreme climate conditions may *develop different adaptations to solve the same problem*.
how do you explain the thousands of references in ancient literature to white skin being beautiful
You mean white literature. Lighter skin was seen as more beautiful in Asia because women with darker skin were the field workers, servants, slaves etc.

If you go to India and south east Asia you see this. Very attractive pale wealthier city dwellers and darker not so good looking rural people, almost like even though they are the same race they are separate ethnicities.

the out of Africa theory was recently debunked. there were humans everywhere
The out of Africa theory was not debunked. The other humans were other humans such as Neadrathal and denovians. At various times our ancestors came very close to extinction.
It's just like what I said about some Europeans and east Asians developing lighter skin and blue eyes to deal with conditions that had lower amounts sunlight so they light skin helps them absorb vitamin D. Humans living in Northern Asia and the Arctic have evolved the ability to develop thick layers of fat on their faces to keep warm. Moreover, the Inuit tend to have flat and broad faces, an adaptation that reduces the likelihood of frostbites. The annuity have a diet rich in fat and vitamin D. Seems human evolution is determined by the need to adapt to the environment. So again different populations facing the same or similar problems adapt differently.
The ability to drink milk and eat dairy products is another genetic adaptation with 60-70% of the world's population lactose intolerant. The reason for humans in the past to drink milk from cows, sheep, goats, deer was to do with survival, finding ways of getting enough calories in winter in Europe and in the middle east as insurance against drought or famine.
Eskimos aren't white either.
