About Vietnam and China are at odds right now, even Vietnam is leaning into Western influence avoiding China one party system.

China has historically been practicing soft geopolitical power by throwing money at a new silk road initiative. Creating trade routes from China to Europe from land and sea easily becoming a global super economy power.

The problem is they are too greedy. Giving money then turning it into a loan where governments in middle asia and Africa say fuck off.
