Are rich deadbeats common?

Usually people don't pay becaise they just don't have the money, but I've heard it's common for people to have tons of money and they still rip people off. I don't really understand why they would if they have the money.

They are not common but they do exist. My uncle was in the real estate business in New York City. He had quite a few wealthy tenents and he was always taking somebody to court for not pain rent. There ere a few well known show biz people too. These people just think they are entitled. Sort of like the Bidens and paying taxes.
