Are the courts the only way to get justice?

It seems like there is a two tiered justice system and certain people always seem to get to skate. It seems like some people are just not allowed to have justice.

Before I answer, just know my answer, by no means, condones or condemns vigilante justice.

No, the court is NOT the only way to get justice and is probably the least effective way to get justice due to all the laws that protect criminals.

Think about it. Laws and Courts are so SOCIETY can decide what is and is not justice by THEIR standards. SOCIETY is not harmed when your loved one is murdered, yet THEY legally get to decide what happens. And many times they get it wrong.

The courts are not about JUSTICE, but about making an example of how a SOCIETY wants to make out of a situation.

The point of courts is NOT to render justice, but to be a balancing scale to ensure that THE WILL OF SOCIETY is followed. The will of society is not always justice for an individual.

When we attempt to get "justice", we are really attempting to make the offender pay for their wrongs. Yes, the courts can sometimes administer justice, but so can an individual if they have the courage to defy society to get said justice.

There are MANY avenues to attempt to "get justice". Each path has their pros and cons. The courts are A way to get justice, not THE way to get justice. But, every action taken to get justice has consequences, good or bad.

"The way to get justice" is ultimately up to the wronged party, what path THEY choose to get justice and if they are strong enough to face the consequences of their chosen path to justice.

I rarely, if ever, get political but it's pretty obvious there is a double standard. Whether it's the POTUS setting them or not is irrelevant, it's up to the DOJ to stop it. Trump's DOJ seemed to work against Trump but Biden's DOJ seemed to bend over backwards to please Biden. 🤷
