Can reason alone lead us to justice?

... And that's one of the reasons why AI is so hideous to look at. Because it can only treat emotions as data. It can imitate emotions but it can't feel them, it can't get hurt, it can't feel anything.
That being said, I really like Data. Sorry Data, it's not against you, you're charming.
No. Because justice has nothing to do with logic. Justice is essentially a creation of emotions. A being with emotions needs a sense of justice and fairness; beings that do not do not need it or can conceive of it.
Maybe the part with --nothing-- to do with logic is overkill lol. I understand that you want, forcefully, to make a point though
I honestly wouldn't know. I feel like now. No one gets justice. We let rapists go, let child sex offenders live near schools, murderers walk free, charges get dropped.

Maybe. I am certain though that the absence of it cannot even get us close. So if we have to decide between cold, rational calculation and the chaos of governing on feelings and impulses alone, i vote for reason.
What justice do you speak of? For instance common sense is not law, but is considered a guideline of reason. Others take the law into their own hands which usually leads to jail, even in cases where morality perhaps should be based..
No, like Batman says, The world won't make sense unless you force it to.,
Nope. Justice can’t be cold and just logic based. There must be sympathy / empathy and a component of the soul in all judgements.
Indiana is going back to hangings and firing squads for death row criminals. Seems like logic to me.
There is no such thing as justice. It's merely a social construct.
No. Justice must also be tempered with mercy.
Reason and solid logic. Yes
Not with only discursive reasoning
No. That's why we need police and courts.
It's supposed to
Yes and justice can lead us to reason.
It should, but it doesn't
Not in most countries.
Maybe
As opposed to what?
No, never.
No don't think so
probably
