Assumption of risk. You play little league football or even base ball and break your leg there is an Assumption of risk involved and you play anyway because it's fun or lots of money in terms of professional fighting.

The old school mix martial arts was more hardcore with no fighting rules and people didn't like it. So it's more structured now with less fensing responses. Arm up or even worse curling on the chest on the ground is killing a person brain damage there there right now. You don't see it too often anymore with add rules over time.

MMA does operate within certain rules and the fighters know what they’re signing up for. Literally. They have to sign liability waivers saying that if they sustain any severe injuries as a result of the fight, they can’t sue their opponent or the stadium.

In the octagon, they chose to fight each other and it's considered a sports game, there are rules and everything unlike a random street fight!

Octagon looks like two street hoods fighting, though I'm 71 and plenty of young folk LOVE it.
