Aaja Chemnitz, one of the two representatives from Greenland in the Danish Parliament, said she worried that Mr. Trump might be trying to pump up Greenland’s independence movement to further his own interests.

Its a valid concern. Supporting independence movements has been a very popular way to destabilize nations recently ever since the atom bomb sort of took that option off the table. Oh, even I could name a few. In most, if not all the blue states, men are treated like utter trash in case of a divorce. Let's see... California, New York, probably Hawaii... Are three enough? I don't want to acidentally insult any state by calling it a "blue state", but I'm sure there are more. Sorry, I know what You meant, but I just couldn't resist pointing that detail out.
