I believe that Trump being the President of the United States is going to affect things globally as they have already begun.
Other countries are no longer laughing at the United States for one thing.
When Trump said that "If the hostages are not returned by the time of his inauguration ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE" he is to believed!! He is a man of his word, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
That's also why he is going to do everything possible to end the war between Ukraine and Russia. He reiterated several times that there are too many people being killed in that war and it has to stop. 🛑 Again, about humanity which are matters of the heart.

Europeans were basically okay with US being a big hegemony for decades, they were mostly in line with neoliberalism when US pushed it, and had a symbiotic relationship with Washington

Any nation that was reluctant to it, actually turned into allies of liberal capitalism in time and what's Trump trying to do is to bring more isolationist policies in the mix, because Pax Americana seems quite dead.

I am Polish, Poland is in Europe, and I see soon-to-be President Donald Trump as God Almighty's deliverance upon the worldwide left wing. The elites are terrified, that is true, but many Europeans just got a renewed hope for a change for the better. If the USA sent enough support to Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Italy, the Konzentrationslager Europa could be torn down in a few years at most.

My whole generation never voted for the left wing and now that it can actually vote, it tends to vote for the right wing. The problem is the fundamentals of democracy and the sheer overwhelming numbers of older people manipulated by the TV and voting for the left wing. Unless serious pressure comes from the world's strongest superpower, this is unlikely to change in time for my generation to get their lives back on track...
