In charge how? Like there's a world government and I'm the president? In that case we would be living in a very different world and I would need to understand it to formulate policy. But my philosophy of governance would be humanist and evidence based. Policies like a guaranteed income and universal healthcare have been shown to be cost effective and promote overall health and happiness.

On the other hand, if the world is as it is but I become all powerful and I'm basically God, I would look at the lowest hanging fruit first: for instance I could eliminate diseases like malaria with a thought. I'd announce to the world that I'm the closest thing there is to God, but there is no "one true religion" and I don’t have commandments for people or reward/punish them with an afterlife. I'd just encourage them to be kind to themselves and each other. I would appear in a different body and only tell people that I'm a person who received this power so that my family could still live a normal life.

Depends on what my authority would be. Stopping the wars would be a good first step but unlikely to be able to be enforced without cooperation from those involved. Beyond that would be things such as redistributing wealth since I have no use for people having billions of dollars worth of assets, remake the justice system to hopefully purge it of corruption and work on the infrastructure and distribution of resources around the world.

Things like hunger can be solved with the resources we have today. Afterwards we need to think of the next steps in human development which means investments in medical technology and space exploration.

Beyond that would be just whatever really. Does not really matter ones you have enough resources that you can do everything at once. No real need to prioritize anything over something else and no need to favor someone over someone else.

In order to conserve environmental resources as well as encourage local labor rather than relying on foreign trade to make products that we actually NEED to survive, I would ban "fun", useless jobs like wedding planners, DJs, musicians, cake decorators, etc, and ban the manufacturing of frivolous products (i. e. how many different kinds of suckable candies do people actually need). If we're not making the effort to have factories in our own country to make useful products for our citizens, why do we think we can afford to let our citizens work in fun jobs while citizens in other countries are slaving away farming, making medication, and other things that we rely on them to import to us. Eventually those countries will gain power over us, pull their trade agreement from us, and our citizens will be at their mercy because we will have not trained our citizens to have the same work ethic as them.

I would make it a free society w/out money. There would b no poverty. I would teach peopl the importance if havin a job 2 run society. We'd need them. Police, game wardens 2 prevent illegal killin of animals that could become extinct creatin our downfall, firefighters, hospitals, schools.

So we didn't drain resources there would b a limit at least sometimes on the things we could take.

Better? You can't imagine what it takes to make it better, probably disregarding a lot of what is considered as "human right".

You'd have to reduce population, crush cultures, force education, wipe out any terrorist organization and warlord, control resources...

To make the world a better place, you'd need to give up on the idea of democracy.
