"filled with such evil"? What? Do you believe in magic? There is no any special evil here. A word like any other. Are you are referring to slavery? It was all all around the globe from antiquity. Was a norm in many countries and cultures. Of course it is very good it's gone now, but we do not need to tremble before a word consisting of bunch of letters.

Should we be afraid of other words - use "r-word" instead of "rape" or "m-word" instead of "murder".
Abortion is heinous - murdering of children in wombs, yet nobody trembles and uses "a-word" instead.

It is like being in the universe of Harry Potter with all these"You-Know-Who", "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" stuff about scary Voldemort. It's childish and an insult to intelligence.

I am against calling people names. But a whole American society paralysed with fear about even citing the world in discussion is hilarious.
