I would've added a 4th option which was they chose to vote for Kamala Harris, but sadly I just don't feel like they would've supported a former prosecutor. The reason why is she simply supports the democratic party and also wants to work across the isle in favor of helping give equal justice for all americans.. which doesn't sound like what most Republicans like doing.
