What’s your thoughts about (mainstream) Islam’s approach to marriage and celibacy?

There is a ton of things I disagree with on Islam. Especially fundamentalist Islamic movement.

I also to don’t at all agree with using the combination of church and state to control and oppress women.

But there is one thing I find myself agreeing with Islam more and more about: a woman’s body is for her husband’s eyes only.

Despite the oppression, violence, etc. that comes out of the Middle East countries they at least don’t have a problem with insane western “modern” feminism where you have hordes of women posting IG selfies, doing OF, celebrating self destruction (promiscuity), proudly having abortions, etc.

And while these women think they are “fighting patriarchy” in reality they are ultimately making themselves extremely miserable and depressed. Because this is not what Mother Nature intended for them.

Anyway I will never convert to Islam or anything. But I have to admit they do have the right idea for some cultural aspects.

Meant to ask this only for the guys. For got to click that option before I posted this.

I know tons of women are gong to vehemently disagree with this. Rant all you want girls but I am not going to read your responses.

This is a devils advocate question. I sure as hell don’t want want Sharia law in western society. I don’t want women subjugated.

But still I had to wonder about this particular aspect of the Islamic culture. It’s brutal but the other extreme is just as bad if not worse.
