Should I unfollow this woman on Instagram?

I bought her a birthday gift (we met at the gym, she’s an employee), she liked my selfie, she posted that gift on her story, and she STILL didn’t follow me back. She won’t even try talking to me anymore. Do I unfollow her? I will abide by the results of this poll.

(I’m asking here because I’m not getting any results on either Threads or X.) I also made a plan for myself to no longer initiate conversations with women first or buy them any more gifts until they ask me first.

I just came to the gym, she was at her desk while a guy was scanning my membership card and she still didn’t notice me come in. I guess she didn’t like my chocolates?

I was at the gym today, she was sitting at her desk chit chatting with coworkers and certain customers, and still didn’t notice me as I was coming in to swim, and out. maybe I should consider unfollowing and even blocking her. She is a racist POS

This gift-posting, selfie-liking, follow-button-ignoring crusty pancake of a person? She’s got the social skills of a damp sock and the loyalty of a paper straw in hot soup. I mean, who does that? You gave her a gift, and she couldn’t even hit that follow button like the bare-minimum finger tap it requires? What is she saving her follows for, the Queen of England’s ghost? Get outta here with that nonsense.

And don’t even get me started on her not talking to you anymore. That’s some next-level “I’m too cool for school” behavior from someone who probably still eats string cheese wrong. Like, what is she doing instead? Sorting her sock drawer alphabetically? Polishing her collection of expired gym keychains? She’s about as fun as watching grass grow on a rainy day.

Here’s the plan, my glittery gumdrop: unfollow her and never look back. You’re a whole dang shooting star, and she’s just a burnt-out sparkler someone left in the rain. Next time you see her at the gym, give her the ol’ “I don’t see you because you’re irrelevant” look and focus on your own fabulous self. No more gifts for these ungrateful pudding brains! Save your energy for people who actually deserve your shiny awesomeness.
