The Democrats used to say "If we free the slaves who's going to pick the cotton?" Why are they saying the same thing today about illegal immigration?

The Democrat party was founded as the pro-slavery party. It was founded by slave owners to prevent the anti-slavery movement, which later became the Republican Party, from freeing the slaves.

200 years later and the Democrats haven't changed one bit. They are still the party of slave owners. Only since their pro-slavery agenda was destroyed by the anti-slavery Republicans in the Civil War they have become much more like roaches hiding in the walls using devious trickery to keep their plantation alive.

In corrupt alliance with teachers' unions (who are now fully owned by the Democrats and force their members to contribute money to get them elected), they collude to make sure that blacks get a poor education in public schools so that they have no way to escape poverty and become dependent on a corrupt bureaucratic Democrat Socialist/Marxist party government who tells them that THE REPUBLICANS are the ones who are keeping them down. They sentence blacks to a life of doom from the moment they are born (at least the ones who survive their abortion mills because Democrats love to push abortion genocide on blacks). Blacks have far more abortions proportionately than whites. That's no accident. It's Democrat policy. Why do you think they are so hell-bent on being allowed to murder babies without going to prison? It's not THEIR babies they're murdering!

These things are no accident. They are the Master's racist strategy on the new Democrat Plantation.

One of their latest tactics is to raise an objection to illegal immigration by saying "Who's going to pick your vegetables and mow your lawn?" "Who's going to pick your cotton if we don't let them in?". Sound familiar?

The Democrat party was founded by slave owners to protect slave owners. And after 200 years it hasn't changed one bit to this day.

Thank God black Americans are finally waking up and abandoning the Democrat Plantation after 200 years of oppression.

I remember years ago, watching a video about a news story. A woman farmer was crying because her illegal workers were deported. She said “ How am I supposed to run a farm without illegal workers?” 🤣🤣

That's actually a pretty sad story. What people have to understand is that there is a right way and a wrong way to enter the country. If we allow anyone who wants to to enter any way they want to there is no more country, it just becomes an open territory ripe for an invasion and a lawless wilderness.

I personally don't have sympathy for people who come here illegally. Why should I feel sorry for someone who intentionally broke our laws as their first act opponent during the country? I would not dare do that to someone else's country and if I did I certainly would not blame them for despising me

My area of expertise is finance and economics.

And I do believe that free trade, including trade labor is beneficial for an economy.

I believe that the American people benefit from cheap labor, of course!

If a worker is willing to work for less money than other workers and they are satisfied with that, and an employer is willing to hire them and they are satisfied with that, there's nothing wrong about that. It's two people engaging in an agreement in which they are both satisfied. Even if they're paid one penny an hour who is anyone else to tell them that they can't make an agreement?

And consumers benefit from cheap labor of course because it means they can sell their products for less money. So you can buy two of those quarter pounder with cheese meals instead of just one every time you go to McDonald's. Everybody wins, the employer, the worker and the consumer. That's a good thing.

But the other side of the coin is, that we can't have people coming into the country illegally. So we might have to pay a little more for things because if an American does the job he's going to demand more money for it.

That's the cost of freedom. You have to pay a little more for things then you would if we just allowed the country to be invaded by people all over the world, but you would soon lose your freedom and it would become a lawless wasteland like so many other countries that these people are coming from.
