Ask any farmer and they'll tell you Americans do not want to pick fruit. It's the same with many blue collar jobs. There are many places in the US where you couldn't get a house built without illegal immigration. They fill the jobs Americans don't want

Because they aren't breaking the law and can be put on the books... People that work under the table can't be recorded or receive recognition because they are trying to go unnoticed... That out of the way most truck drivers earn their CDL within 6 to 12 weeks. Again, not a highly trained job which makes well above the median wage on farms.
