So how do you define the "Deep State"?

I hear this term used all the time. Just curious how people here who believe there is a "Deep State" define it?

Mostly national security agencies like the FBI and CIA (and quite a few others) who are full of unelected officials and have more power than our elected government. In fact, those agencies have the ability to blackmail elected representatives. And the CIA is an independent agency with an undisclosed budget.
Also, the State Department and Pentagon who are also full of unelected officials who are there year after year for decades.

Leaders within those organizations are also involved with international organizations like the Council on Foreign Relations, World Bank, World Economic Forum, etc.

What is interesting is, the Democratic party has aligned itself with these neocon neoliberals in recent decades and is on board with the globalist Great Reset/One World Government/New World Order agenda. So has the Republican party. So it's funny that people think one party or the other is looking to benefit the American people and preserve the constitutional United States of America.

It's a term for MAGA morons to feel important, like they are in on "The Truth", and bolster the ego of a rural, white man that has likely met nothing but failure in love, livelihood & life in general.

In actuality it is the bureaucrats who have credentialed expertise, on the job training & robust experience. They are OVERWHELMINGLY non partisan and WAY too much maligned.

It’s a shadow state within the state, so to speak. It exists in undemocratic countries with strong military, for example formerly in Turkey. It does not exist in the United States, where it’s just a rightwing buzzword to wholesale describe the people disagreeing with their policies. Just like their constant screeching about „fake news“.

The deep state are all the bureaucrats that have been working in the government for decades that have relationships with certain sectors of commerce and certain activist groups and also the intelligence community.. They work for an agenda where the citizens work for the government and not the other way around as the founders intended.

Depends. For example. 51 “former” intelligence officers and the FBI lied in 2020 and claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. The CIA and other associated agencies and departments have set up censorship bureaus around the world.

So the Deep State only interferes with Republican elected officials? Basically the government over the years has been overrun by left leaning conspirators?
