Am I the only one who thinks people under 40 are confusing and a different breed?

Why are they so rude compared to older generations , I mean a lot of them don’t have the balls to say they don’t like a person so they just ghost or they’re just rude and insulting. Has the computer and phones emboldened people to say things they wouldn’t say or do to people’s faces? I mean am I the only one who realized this about people in their 20’s and some in their 30’s? Why are people today so rude?

I do have one good male friend online that’s in his 20’s and two female friends in their 30’s. But other than that I don’t see a lot of good people in that age group , online anyway.

My personal opinion is it has to do with the pre internet generations vs. The post internet generations. Before the rise of the internet WE HAD TO get out and talk to people face to face. There was no other way around it. It's a whole lot harder to just dismiss someone when you're looking them in the eye. Plus you're picking up on all kinds of non verbal clues that you just don't get over the internet. I think it numbs people's ability to communicate when all they do is do it online. Also the internet has no conscience. You can destroy someone who doesn't have a thick skin and walk away like nothing happened. And the internet is just hyperbole. It embodies the extremes of people. You never really do get a picture of the wholeness of a person. Even if they aren't trying to hard the lesser appealing parts of them (which most of the time they are).

Well everything depend on the person I know a lot of young people are much more acceptable when it come to food allergy older people will just mock you and say you're dramatic but yea on other stuff older are nicer depend on the subject and depend on the person.

It depend some older propel were trained to always be well mannered even in front of people they hate (which lots of people see as being fake and hypocrite) and younger generation have had the trend of hating being fake and value honesty above else so it depend on what you're more comfortable with
