Not just extreme, but too toxic. When I first joined as a moderate, it was perfectly fine to have differing views and not to agree with the party on everything, now you either fall in line and agree with everything the party does and supports or your attacked and vilified as an evil right-wing monster. I know many moderate democrats who've been democrats all their lives that have been pushed out of the party and now labeled right wing for not following the party to the extreme left.

Trump's views have changed over the years mine has not, not my problem if one of Trumps views evolved to be similar to one of mine. It isn't even holding the same views at Trump that gets one accused of being MAGA, simply not supporting the DNC establishment gets you labeled MAGA even when you hate Trump and share none of his views. Throwing all these accusations around is contributed to Harris/Democrats losing.
